Happy Birthday Landon!

My nephew, Landon, just turned five over the weekend.  I can't believe it!  We had a lot of fun at his Batman birthday party. The kids (big and little) played a lot and there was pizza and cupcakes.  What could be better :)

Got to Be NC Festival

Two weeks ago we headed out to the Got to Be NC Festival.  It's kind of like a small state fair.  There were rides, tractor pulls, a petting zoo, lots of local vendors, and fair food.  We walked around for a little bit and I think Olive enjoyed the sights.  But of course what she really liked was the food.  Especially the corn on the cob!

Two Things

Olive had me screaming and laughing this morning as we were getting ready to leave the house.  I turned around and shrieked as I saw Olive crouched down and poking a dead palmetto bug.  So gross.  A few minutes later I watched her take one of my headbands off the counter and walk over to the mirror in the bedroom and try to put it on.  I watched her for a little while before she saw me.  And when she caught my eye in the mirror she just starting grinning....like she knew she was the cutest thing ever!
