Doctor Follow-Up

Olive went back to the doctor yesterday to check her weight.  The last time she went she hadn't really gained any weight so the doctor wanted to weigh her again in a month.  She weighed 19 pounds and 12 ounces.  No problem there!  The doctor also checked her ears again.  They were a little red but nothing too bad.  Keep your fingers crossed that no ear infection develops.  She will go back to the doctor again for her one year check up.  One Year.  I can't really believe it.  It's only two months away.  My baby girl is almost one.

9 Month Check Up

Olive had her 9 month check up with the doctor.  We would have been heading to the doctor anyway because she had an ear infection and a yeasty diaper rash.  So she didn't have to get any shots but she did need antibiotics and a prescription cream for the diaper rash.  Antibiotics are no fun.  I can't even tell you how many diapers and clothes (not just for Olive) that we changed.  But thankfully she is feeling much better now.  She hadn't gained much weight since her last check up so we are going back next week to check her weight again.  She has been eating like a little pig so hopefully this isn't anything to worry about.  I can't believe that in a little over 2 months she will be 1.  How is that possible?!
