Jordan Lake

Last weekend we went to Jordan Lake for a little while.  Olive seemed to enjoy every minute of it.  She wasn't afraid of the water and she ate sand like it was the best thing ever!

More Popsicles

I realize that so many posts deal with Olive and food but I can't help it.  She is just so cute and enjoys her food so much.  So here is another one.  She's eating a slightly tart lemonade popsicle.

Olive's 15 Month Check Up

We went to the doctor this past Wednesday for Olive's 15 month check up.  She is doing great.  She weighs 23 pounds (53rd percentile) and is 29.5 inches tall (23rd percentile). She did have to get some shots, which is never any fun, but everything else was good.

Olive is definitely talking more and more everyday.  She tries to say the names of the kids in her class at daycare and she repeats a lot of what you say.  It makes you realize what words you say a lot, ie: dude and whoa! :)  Some of  her other words:
mama
dada
juice
diaper
belly button (more like bey butn)
baby
up
ball
more
Ace
dog
cracker or Aunt Kakee (more like cack cu)
and occasionally she will say thank you (more like tank ew)

Her new favorite thing to do at the moment is have little dance parties in the living room!  She loves to listen to music and starts clapping when she hears it.  Mike showed her how to do a little turn and she will do that every now and then.  But she wants everyone to dance with her.  She will tell you "up!" if you are sitting down.

And of course she still loves to eat!
