When Olive wakes up in the morning the first thing she reaches for are her shoes.  And she knows where they go.

This past Sunday we had a leisurely rainy day.  Mike, Olive and I went to the mall for a little bit and ended up going into the Build a Bear Workshop store.  We had a lot of fun!  And came home with Olive's new dog, Oyle.  She was attached as soon as there was stuffing in her.

No More Bottles!

It is almost 11pm and normally I would be thinking "I still have so much to do".  But not tonight.  I don't have to get any bottles ready for daycare tomorrow!  What a good feeling that is.  Olive is drinking milk from a sippy cup and daycare provides it all.  Woohoo :)

Olive's First Birthday

Ready for some icing all over the face pictures?  I have lots!  We had such a good time celebrating Olive's birthday over the weekend.  Ashley was here on Friday and we went out for frozen yogurt.  And then on Saturday all the Bagleys came over and we grilled out and had purple and pink cupcakes.  Olive had a good time eating and then opening her presents.  After that we all went for a walk on the greenway behind our house and watched the boys (mainly Christopher and Matt)  act silly. :) We must have worn Olive out because Monday at daycare her teacher said she looked over and Olive was asleep on the floor!  Here is our weekend in photos...

It has been one whole year!  What a blessed year it has been.

I Look Like My Mom...

...but I eat like my dad!  Olive will eat anything you put in front of her.  And normally the greener the better.  She definitely didn't get that from me. Some of her favorite things right now are broccoli, green beans, black olives, peas and any kind of fruit, especially bananas.

Phone Kisses

When Olive hears Grandma and Grandpa talking on the phone she likes to give them kisses!  She usually presses a button with her nose while she is doing it.  So I see a cute phone kiss and Grandma and Grandpa get a loud beep.
